My beautiful mum passed away in 1996 at the age of 60 from ALS. There are not enough words to describe her… her love, kindness, strength, courage, positive attitude and a desire to make the world a better place. She loved the Lake District and knew each of the mountains intimately. Some of my best childhood memories are being with her, my sister and brother, on long 10 mile hikes, inhaling the stunning vistas of Coniston, Windermere, Derwentwater, Buttermere and so many more. Her favorite picnic spot was Loughrigg Fell near Ambleside…. we would sit up there and put the world to right 🙂 Her ashes are scattered right at the top of Loughrigg … it’s a magnificent place, one I can’t wait to get back to soon 🙂

It’s all about color !! I’m currently busy working on a new abstract collage and mixed media series – each panel is 11 x 14 and they look fantastic paired in threes or more ! Check out my Art For Sale page for more information.
