Cape Cod Garden – A Therapeutic Sea Sponge and Collage Workshop at Osterville Village Library

Sunday 1 November 2026

1:00pm to 3:00pm Upstairs Meeting Room

In this two-hour class, you will explore the therapeutic and expressive process of creating a mixed media Cape Cod–inspired flower garden with soft ocean views. Using a variety of collage papers and acrylic paint applied with sponges and brushes, you will build a richly layered and personal landscape.

There are no set design rules—guidance is offered throughout while encouraging your own creative voice and intuitive choices. This class is suitable for all levels, including beginners.

All materials are provided, and you will work on an 11” x 14” canvas.

You are warmly invited to bring small personal items—such as beads, buttons, or meaningful objects—to incorporate into your piece, adding a layer of personal storytelling.

This class offers a gentle space to slow down, reconnect, and create something uniquely your own.

Refund Policy:

Registration is required prior to class. Students must pay in full online.

There will be no refunds for classes unless class is cancelled by the instructor.

If a student cancels at least five days before the class begins and the instructor is able to fill the seat, a refund will be issued.
