So excited to learn that I was accepted into the National Juried Show – “On the Edge”, selected by Mass Museum Of Contemporary Art Museum curator Denise Markonish.
My piece is called “Within These Walls” 24 x 36 Acrylic on Canvas.
The Artist Reception will be held at the South Shore Art Center,
Cohasset MA on Friday 13 November, 6-8pm.
I will be travelling all day tomorrow so this is the end of my challenge ! I have so enjoyed the free, flowing, spontaneous rhythm of a palette knife – and using it on textured gesso added a whole new dimension. Abstract art can be challenging for some viewers to grasp… I basically paint my feelings and thoughts in color, pattern and texture – I hope that some of the challenge pieces have moved you in some small way 🙂

So there are two terrible paintings under the cats !:) in my opinion 🙂 I was about to quit when i noticed my cats Barney and Pumpkin eyeing me curiously so i poured on the white paint in their images and i really love this piece now !:) Thanks to my furry friends for saving the day 🙂
